The one that acted so kind to everyone, who never trod on anyone's toes. Her performance had been perfect. She made a mental list of all the amazons that she had encountered Sumeria Leona - She had been suspicious at first, but with Dreyanne constantly sticking up for her, it was starting to wear away. Laeia Tanzin - Suspicious, but easy prey. Larissa - Too dumb to even notice something was up. Baale Jlasta - Who cared? She had barely shown her face. Dreyanne - Will never knew what hit her. This was supposed ot be a hard task for her. The prophets had told her so before she left the temple. This was supposed to be the hardest task of all... and yet, it had been so simple. No one there would be able to stand in her way. She walked to Dreyanne's hut and knocked lightly, inside smirking at the stupidity of the girl that she was about to kill. When Dreyanne answered, looking as beautiful as she dared without trying too hard, she smiled. Sv: Dreyanne! You look lovely! D: Thank you Svet. :: giggles :: You look wonderful too. Of course I do you stupid bitch, count down the moments.... Sv: Thank you.

Svetlana ... she was really troubling her. Nothing good would come of her being in the city. Nothing. She'd seen it, known it from the beginning. But she had no proof, no evidence but from her own suspicions to treat the woman badly. And now she was alone with Dreyanne to do whatever she wished. The Lioness had followed Svetlana Nayida as closely as humanly possible without looking like she was being an intruding busy-body rather than an eager hostess, and watched her like a falcon with alluring but vigilant eyes. But it had all come to nothing. Svetlana was too good an actress. She always found an excuse to be free of the Shatomlic Queen of Defence. Each one Sumeria had pushed aside, brought to her own advantage, and kept her in a position of close watchfulness. But when she was going to visit her girlfriend, there was no way in the world Sumeria could still keep tabs on her most recent visitor who worried her so much. It just wasn't going to happen - neither Dreyanne or Svetlana would ever do that at such a time, she knew it; Sumeria would have been very much concerned if they had, and everyone knew that the queen was not interested in that field. She wouldn't want to be in there anyway. So Svetlana was for a while home-free, and all Sumeria could do was wait and pray for her ex-friend's twin sister. And hope Dreyanne could see through the act. With another thought, the Queen went out of her yurt and went to Lara, Head of the Guard, who was nearby. S: Lara, a word please? She leaned forward and spoke to her very quietly. S: Set the Guard on alert please, and have them wait for orders. We might have a situation on our hands tonight. We might ... I cannot guarantee it nor explain it, but there may be action tonight. Sumeria smiled - she had now done everything in her power. ~Sumeria

(I'm bored, and want to elaborate on my character) >>> The Queen gratefully thanked Larissa, and with a quick hug Sumeria turned away again and continued on. She felt tired, and a headache was starting to form - at such a terrible time, too! Plenty was preying on the young woman's mind. Kalasin, Svetlana, the safety of her sisters ... oh yeah, and the end of the world too. When Kalasin had left Hyrcania, she had smugly said that Sumeria ought to be jealous of her, what with her children, inexhaustable wealth, wonderful husband and all that ... obtuse boastful self-absorbed bitch, Sumeria would rather die than be like Kalasin, she had nothing to boast about. But then again, when she thought about it, she DID have three things she would never have. Sumeria would die estranged from her mother, without a steady relationship, and she would not have children. These things she regretted. But Sumeria pushed these things aside - she still had a little while to go, and she would need all her wit and strength about her for all that time. If it was in her power to stop the Apocalypse, she would do it, and she would protect her sisters with all of her considerable might, regardless of the outcome. Sumeria would fight. She looked about her suddenly - she was at the River! Surprised at her lapse of consciousness, she silently chastised herself (dangerous at a time like this) and looked about her to see what her situation was. She was alone. Thank Isis. The twenty year old knelt down beside the waters and cupped her hands just beneath the water level, then raised it to her lips. Water usually calmed a headache. Then without another thought to it, she removed the outer layer of her clothes, her shoes, and her jewellery, and waded into the cool water. Her concerns drifted away and she enjoyed herself for the time being. She frowned suddenly as her stomach for a moment felt violently upset, but it passed and everything was back to normal, and it was forgotten. ~Sumeria

She kissed the young woman softly on the lips, though the thought of kissing a woman that would be dead within the hour disgusted her. She ran a hand through the young woman's hair and looked at her with nothing but adoration in her beautiful eyes. Sv: I would like to go for a walk. Wouldn't you? D: Of course She took Dreyanne by the hand, making sure as she left the hut that no one would be able to see them leave. There was no one in sight, she had made sure of that long before going to see Dreyanne. Sumeria Leona had gone to talk to Larissa, Laeia was no where to be seen, and that Baale girl, she had not come out of her hut for three days anyway. Wonder what it would be like to be walking towards your death? She led Dreyanne into the forest and suddenly turned ehr around to kiss her full on the lips. The kiss was filled with fiery passion, the excitement of the kill about to occur. Of course, Dreyanne didn't know that. D: Wow. Sv: I know... everytime I am near you... it is like this passion fills me, it is so... That was the moment that she allowed the facade to fall away. The cruelty in her eyes shone through, and her entire demeanor changed. She was not longer the non-violent, loving girlfriend of Dreyanne Augustus, she was the cold, malicious bitch of an assassin sent for her. Sv: ...wonderful. D: :: hand on Svet's cheek :: Svetlana? Are you okay? Sv: Better than okay, I am with you after all. D: Okay... Sv: You don't trust me? D: Of course I... She is cut off by the sudden grunting in the bushes, like someone that has just been gagged. The Augustus woman turns around curiously, and lifts away a section of branch. Her eyes widen as she spots the young man, tied and bound with thick ropes. D: Svet! Quickly! She turns frantically to her girlfriend, only to see a long dagger in her hand. There is a smile of Svetlana's face as she moves over to Dreyanne, she looks evil, more evil than anything that Dreyanne has ever seen. D: Svet... what is going on? Sv : My name is Svetlana. Svetlana Nayida. :: leans in and whispers in her ear :: Your killer. Without further adue, the assassin runs her dagger roughly across the throat of Dreyanne, silencing her instantly. She then scoops a broadsword from it's hidden spot on the ground and forcefull sends it down on Dreyanne's neck, slicing off her head on the line of the cut that killed her. She thens turns to the man and smiles. Sv: I'm not going to kill you. :: kneels over and stabs him in the calf and the thigh :: I just need you to run. :: thros seven gold coins and him and cuts the ropes :: Make sure you bleed on some plants. With that, she hands him the sword and the young man stands and starts to run as fas as his legs will carry him. She then turns her attention to herself.Time to make it look real She scooped the dagger back up and without cringing, stabbed herself in the stomach and cut herself along her thigh, right arm and just above her left breast. She then grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked it out before tossing it into the bushes. Next came the torn clothes. She tore where the cuts were, and left it at that, too dramatic would kill the effect. And now the act She screamed twice, the first time very loudly, and then waiting a moment before screaming again, this time weaker, harder to hear, like someone who had lost a lot of blood. She then collapsed to the ground, but not before running the dagger across her left cheek. Well done Svetlana.... now for the final act.

She rolled her eyes, then took a look around to see if anyone else was worried. A few stopped and looked around. The blonde sighed and stood from her seat and jogged off out of the gates into the woods. She held out her sword infront of her, twirling it slightly, incase it needed use. Suddenly she came upon two bodies on the ground. One decapitated, the other wounded badly. Svetlana. Laeia's faced hardened at the sight of her. Her icyeyes trailed to the head of the body. Dreyanne. She looked back at Svetlana, her face emotionless. She walked swiftly over to her and without hesitation or warning, sent her foot straight into Svetlana's face. "What happened." She said coldly. She was barely holding on, so it SEEMED, but Laeia couldn't care an ounce. She didn't trust her, have dead or not, and everything around her told her not to. "I said...What happened?" She repeated again. It didn't seem that she had an ounce of caring that Dreyanne was dead either. For the record. She didn't. She didn't like Dreyanne to much, and found her sister, Kalasin, much more enjoyable to be around. He blue orbs stared down at Svetlana.

With a smile, she let herself float on the surface and whispered a hymn in praise to Isis, admiring the lush green canopy over her. Craaaaack! Alarmed by the disturbance, the Queen jumped to an upright level in the water and looked around for the cause. To her astonishment, a dirty, terrified man came running through the forest, underbrush breaking and stomped on over and over again without a care. He was trespassing on Amazon Territory. S: whispers Oh no you don't ... She sunk to a level where only the eyes and up could be seen in the water, like a Nile Crocodile, and slowly manouvred her way towards him hidden by reeds. Her feet found solid ground, and waited. She wasn't sure what he'd done to look guilty and terrified, but she thought it would be fun to scare him a bit. Teach him to keep out. The man almost ran straight into the water until it occurred to him that it was there. He quickly stooped to take a drink for his parched throat, and let out a very feminine shriek as Sumeria Leona pounced, one hand gripped in his greasy hair, a dagger from her pile of clothes at his throat. S: sweetly, but for the dagger Greetings, can I be of some assistance? She got a whimper in response. Ugh. She rolled her eyes at his cowardice and brought the knife closer. S: You are trespassing on Amazon Territory, do you know? On territory under my jurisdiction, too. Man: squeeks Amazon Territory? S: Indeed! Guess this just isn't your lucky day. grins If you knew the torments I could inflict on you by law ... M: I-I-I-I didn't do it!!! S: amused/perplexed Yes you did, you're in Shatomlic Territory! Of course you did it! M: I didn't kill her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sumeria blinked, half in fear half in surprise at the sudden outburst. S: What? M: I didn't kill her, I swear by the gods above! That's it, this one's going to the Hyrcanian prisons. Eumache and I will discuss what to do with him. S: maliceful I was unaware any of my sisters had been killed. M: suddenly looking her over appreciatively You know, you're INCREDIBLY attractive! Sumeria growled low in her throat, and instead of beheading him she backhanded him across the face, which silenced any amorous thoughts his mind was so insane to conjure for the time being. With that, the scantily clad, wet Amazon Queen dragged him towards the city, ignoring his painfully loud weeping in her ear as much as she could. Honestly, you'd think that he'd have the decency to stand tall and strong, and be an example of his sex, rather than making Sumeria drag his limp shuddering frame all the way. Sumeria entered the city, and the place was on the verge of uproar. Rhiannon, Akantha and a few other healers were preparing for the worst. Everyone was talking, and nobody knew the full story. Confused, and feeling slightly embarrassed being soaked to the skin in exceptionally Kalasinesque undergarments when everyone was so busy and alert, she hailed an amazon walking by. S: What's going on? ?: It's Dreyanne my queen! She's been attacked by a stray man in the forest! Rumour is that Dreyanne is dead!!! S: chokes - not what she wanted to hear Thank you. Please tell Larissa to send the guard out. ?: She already has! S: Excellent! flounders Then ... DON'T tell her to send it out! ?: looking her over Are you alright, my queen? You look a little ... out of sorts! S: muttered Thank you for the observation. Sumeria then looked at her male captive, and in a period of five seconds she went from calm to infuriated until her anger reached an impossible length. With her dagger she swiftly cut him on both sides of the face. S: You killed her! Don't deny it! growls You will be flayed alive for this, you bastard. M: I didn't kill her!!!! I swear! S: malignant gleam Of course you didn't, she just killed herself! M: No! It was a woman! Sumeria stopped dead. S: A woman, you say? M: Yes! S: to another amazon Was Dreyanne found with anybody else? ?: Svetlana Nayida, my queen! Badly beaten, and cut up terribly, but she is alive so far! Sumeria looked even more angry if that were at all possible. When Larissa's former lover Connor entered Hyrcania and spied on the bathing women in the river, Sumeria had made a deadly display of anger beyond anything ever seen of the mildly-tempered woman. She now matched that rage, but the scary thing was that it was real this time, she had been pretending for most of the time for Connor. One of her sisters were dead, and she knew just who was responsible. Svetlana, you bitch ... S: Please escort this man to the prisons. Lock him up tight. Do not harm him yet. He is not to be given food or drink. Remove everything he owns on his person besides his clothes and leave them in a pile for me to inspect later on. ?: Yes, my queen. Sumeria breathed deeply, dread coming upon her, and sprinted barefoot back out into the forest, looking for the scene of the death. She found it, and stopped at a halt, putting her hands behind her back to hide their trembling in anger. ~Sumeria

So she was bleeding, slightly sore, big deal. She was trained to deal with the wounds that she had inflicted upon herself. She could sense the cold in Laeia's eyes, and inside, she smiled. This was going to be fun. But then again, her whole job was fun. Sv: A man :: pauses :: He came and he attacked us. She let her head slump slightly , knowing that soon, the guard would be there, she needed to look as weak as possible, get taken back to Hyrcania, and then show them what a can of whoop-ass really was.

She wanted to keep her arrival quiet, keep her out of trouble, avoid any chance meetings with people that she did not want to see. Hiroshi had told her that she was strong enough to do this, strong enough to make sure that her sister was okay, and not return to Japan a monster. His faith was enough for her. It was always enough. If he believed that she could do it, she knew that she would somewhere find the strength inside of her to do whatever it was that was requested. She was wearing dark brown leather pants, and a deep forest green corset that laced up the front, her hair, longer and darker now, was pulled back in a plait that reached past the small of her back. She wore thick kohl eyeliner and had the Sword of Amaterasu, which she had recovered from her newly repatroned goddess, strapped to her back. She looked around herself, seeing the man, a very angry Sumeria, and some guards heading into the forest in the distance. 'Some things never chance' she thought amusedly to herself as she leapt deftly onto the roof of a nearby hut, knowing that it was secure. Kalasin was hidden rather well from sight, and she sat tenderly, pondering what her next move would be. Would she go down there, talk to some of the amazons? It could be good for her to confront the people that had made her life a living hell. They all thought that she was a heartless bitch, she wasn't. It had hurt having to leave behind that life, she had tried so hard to hold onto it, hoping that it would all be okay the next morning. It had never gotten better though. They didn't care though. She could handle that. So long as Hiroshi did. Finally her mind was made up. She would go down there. Kalasin Yamamoto would go down there, and she would ask Sumeria face to face where her older sister was, and hopefully, make sure that she was okay. And she would do it all with no snide comments, nothing of the sort. So she quickly rolled off the top of the hut, landing carefully, and silently. The amazons seemed preoccupied. That was fine. So long as she could have her words with Sumeria, none of it mattered. She spoke quietly, though loud enough to be heard by her former friend. K - Sumeria Leona. Where is my elder sister? She could see that the amazon queen was fuming already. Perhaps her presence would push her over the edge. Kalasin didn't care. She needed to see her sister, and she needed to see her now. K - Please, I must know where my sister is. And I need to talk to a Svetlana Nayida. holds up the message as she darts around in front of Sumeria Baale sent me this note, detailing Svetlana. I came because she requested it of me, she said my sister could be in danger. looks desperate I have to see her. ~Hold me when I'm here Love me when I'm wrong Hold me when I'm scared And love me when I'm gone~

Her furious face instantly morphed into confused distress, and not from seeing Kalasin there. For the moment her mind didn't quite remember that they were decidedly enemies and that Sumeria should be angry at her return, and instead saw Kalasin as the friend she once was, who could help in the situation. S: Kalasin?? You came back ... Baale? Message? So quick? Dreyanne ... glares Svetlana ... Sumeria realised the situation. The thought instantly came to her that if Sumeria had not been off her guard for that short while, Dreyanne might yet have lived. And Kalasin has lost her last sibling. She cleared her mind, and spoke as properly as she could. S: Of course you must see her, but Kalasin, you must be prepared for the very worst. I have not seen Dreyanne myself, but I have been told that she is dead, and I am almost entirely certain that this Svetlana Nayida is responsible. I think she framed the man you must have seen me drag into the city. I've been suspicious of her all along, I've been trailing her every move ... Oh Gods, Kalasin, I am so sorry, I tried so hard to protect everyone ... rubs her eyes Come, I'll show you the way. There is no time to spare. Sumeria broke off at a sprint, ignoring her bare feet yelling at her, and motioned for Kalasin to follow. ~Sumeria

It was a favourite place for them. She took off instantly, easily overtaking Sumeria in her desperation to see her sister. When she arrived though, that was not who she saw first. Her eyes drifted quickly from Laeia to Larissa, to the pretty, but unfamiliar woman, who would surely be Svetlana Nayida, and then to the headless corpse that was once her sister. She looked again at Svetlana, and nodded slowly. Had this been a few months before, she would have simply hacked up everything that was moving, but this was a different Kalasin. This was a woman that kept her cool, never lost her exceedingly volatile temper, she assessed the situation with a dead cold that no one would quite have believed. One would have thought that she was looking over the corpse of a rat, rather than that of her twin sister, the girl that had shared a womb with her. She looked Svetlana up and down again and then turned around and walked away, catching Sumeria on her way there. She stopped her former friend and looked her directly in the eye. K - Treat Svetlana Nayida. pause Send Dreyanne's body to the temple of Artemis in Ephesus. She did it. I can tell. chuckles I used to be her, it is easy to see. pause I want her well again. I am going to kill her, and I want to do so in a fair fight. Kalasin ran a hand through her dark hair and closed her eyes for a moment. K - Dreyanne is dead, decapitated. This means that the Apocalypse is coming, and you have nothing to help you stop it. pauses I should go. Dreyanne had played a large part in the destruction of Sekhmet in Rome, and Sumeria had owed her much, just as she owed everyone else who helped her remove the scourge on her soul. And now Dreyanne was dead. In a horrible way. S: whispers to herself Dreyanne was convinced that Svetlana had eyes for her ... how must she have felt ... Sumeria blinked, coming back to reality, and looked towards the guards hovering for orders. S: You heard Kalasin - take Svetlana away, to the prison. Let only Rhiannon and Akantha in with her. Give her food and drink. She must be well again when she given oblivion ... and make preparations for Dreyanne's remains sent to Ephesus. This was all done straight away, and Sumeria then turned to Kalasin. The Queen's former friend had changed since their rocky goodbye, both physically (as her hair colour had changed) and in her manner - so much more in control of herself, more civil. It was hard to imagine her the woman who had run away. Not too sure where she stood with her, how to react or how to behave, Sumeria opted for quiet civility - Kalasin's changes facinated her, and she wanted to see more. And she knew it would be so much more fun for Kalasin to avenge Dreyanne than for Sumeria herself to kill Svetlana - Sumeria couldn't reach the level of savagery her former friend could achieve. And that would be more worthwhile to see; Svetlana deserved to suffer. S: It is customary for the Queen to take the life of any caught who harmed her sisters, but I pass this to you of course, and there is no replacement for my right hand. I take it you have had a very very long, hard journey to get here at such short notice. Your yurt is still as you left it, but for Laeia's presence. You can stay here if you wish to, for as long as you feel necessary. She coughed against the back of her hand slightly, saddened by the events. And her pride was in conflict with her better senses, and at the moment she was feeling very incapable. After about ten seconds, she continued. S: slowly/quietly Now that the knowledge is gone, I do not have the information I need to give me an advantage on the Apocalypse. It will be increasingly difficult for me to protect the tribe, not that I have too much of a chance in the first place. Apparently people united are stronger than people divided. I would be ... greatly pleased ... if I could have your help in these last days. There, I said it. It hurt, but I said it S: Of course I know you will be hesitant, with your husband, children and all you said you had to go to, but if I could persuade you I would be in your debt. Please think about it. With an amazon farewell, Sumeria left to see to the Man's departure from Hyrcania. ~Sumeria

She then turned to return to the village. Though this man was not the culprit he was on Amazon territory and so she is curious to find out why. ~Lara

It seemed that there were only a very select few who knew about the apocalypse, and Sumeria's list of allies was exceptionally thin; So if Kalasin didn't step back in from what she abandoned, and help find others who could help out as well, then her precious Japanese home with 200 000 people would be destroyed anyway, no matter what sort of trading routes and delegations she worked at. There were only a few weeks left. S: There is much to be done here, nobody will be disturbing you. She turned again, successly this time, and went on her way. _~~_ Hyrcanian Prison* Two amazonian guards moved aside their spears for their queen to pass, Sumeria Leona entered, moved firstly into Svetlana's cell, and for a minute she stood there looking down at the wretched looking killer. The healers moved away, a little nervously. Nobody moved or spoke. The Queen lip curled in disgust. A resounding backhanded slap connected with Svetlana's face. The woman recovered unflinchingly, only to be backhanded again with all the strength the Lioness could muster. Healer: My Queen, please! S: to Svetlana YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I WOULD HAVE BEEN TO HAVE KILLED YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID!!!! She composed herself back to her original level. S: You cannot comprehend it. But I must content myself with having you die in a more savage way - you will be set in a duel with Kalasin. The amazons took one look at the place she had called her home and turned out of it before heading to the forest. She liked it better there anyway. She knew that Himeji would perish when the end of the world came, but she had already started to prepare for their resistance. The Emperor of Japan had been informed by herself and Hiroshi, and they already had their own sorcerers and samurai working on the defenses of the nation. She knew that in the end, it would not amount to much, but it was better than nothing. And she would rather die with the people of Himeji than with the people of Hyrcania. She would stay a week, two at most, and then go back to the place where she was actualy wanted. The young woman walked into the forest and knelt down, offering her prayers to Amaterasu. She wondered what Sumeria thought of her now. She was not exactly the slash-happy rampant whore that she had been a few months prior. She was married again, looking after her child, and running a city that far out-stripped Hyrcania in every way shape and form. And she looked damn good. But it didnt matter. Faster than Kalasin on her best day, she slammed Sumeria against the wall of her cell with enough force to break the backs of most people. And she had a feeling that it involved Sumeria Leona. For a moment there, Kalasin considered not doing anything about it. After all, why should she? Sumeria had done her no favours. At the best, they were not on speaking terms, at the worst, they were blood enemies. Why she should go to see what was happening was a mystery. But she was not someone that would ignore a feeling in her gut. Things were so totally different. She was someone else now, someone that helped. She sprinted to the prison hut, where she knew her former friend would be. Quickly, she shoved past the guards into the hut, knowing that they would not dare to stop her. They still had memories of the old Kalasin, the bitch that would cut them open if they did anything wrong. Sv - You're weak enough as it is Kalasin did not catch her final words, she was too focused to hear a thing. Within half a moment, she was there, and backhanded Svetlana viciously upside the chin. She followed it neatly with a solid kick to her left knee and then promptly sent her other foot careening into the side of Svetlana's skull. She moved faster than anyone could imagine possible, faster than she had before she left. Svetlana laid still on the ground for a moment, barely conscious. Kalasin stood towering over her and smiled. K - She is the leader. She may have wronged me severely, and for that I will never forgive her, but she is the leader of the Shatomlic Amazons, not me, not any other. So you keep your venomous trap shut before I show you just what Kalasin Ti'Ya-Kuk'Tai can do. She smirked and kicked her in the face, knocking her clean out. Without another word, the amazon walked out of the hut. No matter what, she was still Kalasin Ti'Ya-Kuk'Tai, still a vicious creature, though she kept it very hidden nowadays. It wouldn't work. The pain, however, she couldn't deny to herself was agonizing, but with such a cold, deep stare like Sumeria's, nobody would have known it. Her stomach felt horrible! Sumeria looked her over. She instantly knew immediately what the woman's flaws were. It was perhaps not well known to Svetlana, but it sure was to everyone else that Sumeria was the match of Kalasin, she could certainly destroy Svetlana if she desired. And she desired. Sumeria was going to show her exactly what the Queen of the Shatomlic Amazons was made of. She was enraged that Svetlana had the audacity to give the title to KALASIN of all people - what did she care about Hyrcania? NOTHING! - and the incredible lie goaded her on. That was the last impudant mistaken remark she would ever make. What the hell did Sumeria do to Kalasin anyway? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, unless defending herself and her other friends was a crime. In a split second she visualised everything in her mind, every move her body would make. With relish she determined exactly how Svetlana's neck would be broken and snapped, ripping her besmirched soul to oblivion. She couldn't give a damn if Kalasin had placed dibs on her life, Sumeria could not bare to let any other kill her - Svetlana's death was hers. And it would happen in 4,3,2,1 ... Sv: You're weak enough as it is, what with the child and all. Sumeria was taken aback, and her perfect plan was halted. THAT was certainly an angle she wasn't expecting to be played from the assassin - to make such a suggestion! S: whispers What????? She didn't even register Kalasin come and render Svetlana unconscious. She heard and saw it, but the reality did not sink in. She was too surprised. K: Sorry you had to see that. S: blinking, coming back to life, quietly No problem. Kalasin was already gone. She looked down at Svetlana's unconscious frame, feeling bitterly disappointed. She couldn't kill her now. Had she had a few seconds more without Kalasin, she could have said it was self defence, and could've gotten away with it. But she'd missed the opportunity. S: sadly Damn ... ?: Pardon? S: forgotten the healers were there Strip her down of every item she posesses ... and take her clothes as well. Give her something old to wear. Send everything to my yurt. I'm going to find out where she came from. I want to know before justice is served. ?: Yes my queen ... you should go to Rhiannon and see what damage you've taken S: wearily Thank you ... turning to leave ?: And Miss Leona ... The two healers smiled, and cringed as they went to help the charge they detested. Sumeria left the prison, the pain swelling to a dull ache. She could see Kalasin nearby ... she looked so much like she did before she died, when they were still friends. The very thought caused her to tremor slightly, and it took her a few seconds to stamp it out. She had loved that Kalasin like the sister she never had - where had she gone? Sumeria looked away, her abdomen killing her from the inside. As fast as the wet, bruised, grieved and undergarment-wearing Amazon Queen could go, she went towards her yurt, went inside, and locked the door behind her, to be alone. Peeling off her wet clothes carefully and drying herself with a towel, Sumeria slipped into a warm night-gown, even though it was barely afternoon, and got beneath the covers of her bed. She was now alone - finally. Only now she allowed herself to release the pain she bore - had she been standing she would have doubled over from it. S: hissed Isis give me strength! With a sigh she snuggled into the blankets, and fell into a deep sleep - to ease the pain. Eumache could easily take care of what Sumeria was absent to attend to. The Amazon Queen drifted away, staring into Kalasin's vial until her eyes shut. ~Sumeria

She knew that she was not really wanted, Sumeria only wanted her there so that she could fight on Hyrcania's behalf. It tore her apart to have to go through all of this. She wanted to be back in Himeji, back with Hiroshi, where she knew that she would be safe. At least until the Apocalypse ate the world. Why had she responded to Baale's letter? They did not need her any more than she needed them. She just wanted to go back to doing what she loved. Being in Hyrcania made her nervous. She had acknowledged nearly a month ago the monster that she had let herself become, and she and Hiroshi had managed to reverse it. She was back to the way she was before she had taken that damned mission from Scipio. No longer did the after effects of insanity linger in her brain, no longer was that constant pressure there. And yet she was still standing there, wondering what to do with herself next. Sumeria hated Svetlana, that much was obvious to Kalasin. Though, the former amazon herself still did not know what to think of the assassin. She was following orders, that was what she was meant to do. Kalasin understood that better than anyone. She had been much the same. Why Sumeria refused to acknowledge that was beyond her. Kalasin frowned. Why was it that Sumeria refused to believe that people could change for the better? After all, the amazon queen herself had gone into a killing frenzy before, and come out of it okay. She didn't want to think that she could end up on the same level as Kalasin Yamamoto Ti'Ya-Kuk'Tai and Svetlana Nayida. So she walked over to the packs that she had brought with her and pulled out a scroll that she had been reading on and off for the past few days. 'Roman Patriotism and it's affect on Carthaginian trading abilities.'
