Nodding at the attendent to release her, Hippolyte quickly had opened the scroll and saw Queen Eumache's signature. Her smile broadened more, as she read of her acceptance into the Hyrcanian tribe. It would be an honour for her to serve as a warrior and learn from this noble tribe.
Quickly, Hippolyte gave word to Queen's De'Lerium and Solari that she would be setting out for Hyrcania. Promising them, that she would return quickly back home. But, this journey was needed. Hippolyte wanted to meet more of the Hyrcanians. She was so impressed with those she had met so far. Surely, the rest were incredible amazons, as well.
It had taken one and a half weeks to make the journey to Hyrcania. Thankful that she had traveled there several times before, Hippolyte negotiated her horse thru the thick jungle. The heat was much more intense in these lands. Her purple chamise seemed to be stuck to her and apart of her skin now. Hippolyte thought more then once to take off her leather armour. But, always thought twice about it. She was alone traveling these jungles, and that would not be a keen idea.
Lifting her right hand up, Hippolyte wipped a bit of sweat from her brow and frowned. Then stopped the pale grey mare below her. With both hands, Hippolyte took her careless auburn mane and braided it into one thick tail. And then grabbed a leather string from her pouch and tied it off.
"Monsoon," she began to talk to her horse. "How are you doing down there?" Hippolyte had let the horse take several breaks this day. But, as evening was setting and Hyrcania was so close. She didn't want to stop. The horse said nothing, but began to chew on some leaves on a tree near them. Hippolyte chuckled, "Well, I know your not starving at least."
