Kiarna awoke in her yurt. Sleep was still resting on her eyes, but as her pendant quivered she knew she was not alone.
Grabbing the sais beside her bed she allowed her eyes to adjust to the darkness, and waking. Slowly the figure came into focus.
Ki:Who are you? Before I skewer you
The figure strode towards the bed, sitting upon it's edge. The Amazon was dumbfounded anyone would do such a thing.
?: I'd kill you before you thought about it
The voice was rough and masculine. It's deepness was one Kiarna had heard before.
Ki:Ares?
Her sais dropped as he confirmed her thoughts. Slowly she sank back into her bed. Though confused to why he was here. As if reading her mind he spoke.
A: Rome needs you...you must go
Kiarna was willing, ready and able. She had almost jumped out of bed when the thought struck her.
Ki: Rome is Mars' domain why are you doing his work?
The Amazon looked to her God. He turned his head not wanting to answer, but she would not go without a reply.
A:It does not matter, but you must go!
His voice was dangerous and deadly, the intention got through.
Ki: I will leave at first light
Nodding Ares disappeared, leaving the Amazon little time to prepare and think.

As the dawn hit Hrycania, Nightmare galloped from the village gates.
