Posts: 2232 (12/29/03 06:03:02) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Larissa finished unlacing her top and tossed it over to lie with her other pieces of clothing on a nearby bush. Walking out on the long rock which overlooks the small secluded swimming area she notices how inviting the water looks today, clear and sparkling in the sun's reflection. Closing her eyes she takes a deep breathe of fresh air and dives deep into the pool enjoying the feeling of the cool water around her. Re-surfacing Lara slowly wades over towards the small streamlet of falling water on the other side of the pool and the only disturbance to the otherwise completely calm surface of the water. Lara smirks as she thinks of how pitiful the 'waterfall' is. By rights it really could be called a waterfall... but then to even compare it to that huge mother of a thing on the other side of the forest would simply be insulting... oh well it is just right when you're in need of a shower Thankful for this little comfy spring setup that she stumbled across a few weeks ago, Lara lets the cool water soothe her aching muscles after her strenuous workout earlier that morning hoping to keep her mind busy. It wasn't that Lara didn't enjoy times like these; enjoying Hyrcania and it's peaceful life. Larissa was rather starting to enjoy the simple life, taking a break from being adventurous... not that living in Hyrcania was adventure free. She grins at the memory of the tribe's last big party at the Turbulant Tavern... Uh huh... now that was definately... interesting... among other things ... It was just that times like these were the perfect opportunity for her to do some thinking... and that was exactly what she didnt want to be doing. Memories started to rise in her: of seeing Connor again after thinking he was dead for so long...refusing his marriage proposal... his hurt and yet understanding expression... having to leave him once again. Lara moves out from under the spray and wades out to float on her back in the centre of the pool. Why did i leave him?... It's not that I don't love him... but there must be something that stopped me or else we'd be married right now... i just have to find what it is, i just don't want to hurt him any longer Lara sighs and shakes her head hoping to clear it. She is supposed to be enjoying this time to herself and not waste time trying to work out the riddle that is her life at the moment... no doubt one of her sisters could stumble upon her little getaway at any time, not that she wouldn't honestly be thankful for that distraction. ~Lara

She had been plagued by Kalasin of late and after her adventures outside of Greece the girl was happy for some alone time. Wandering the tranquility she heard a spring, not loud but enough to draw her attention. Making her way towards the sound, she noticed clothing on a bush. Hmmmmm! the Amazon thought interesting Pushing through but not completely visable she noticed Larissa in the spring showering. Waiting and watching she waited for just the right moment! Ki: Ohi, Lara watcha doin? Why'd you keep this place a secret! she yelled to her friend.

Kiarna... hee hee Keeping her back to her, Lara smiles cheekily and continues washing. matter of factly, but with a tinge of teasing La: what does it look like i'm doing Kiarna..hmmmm? pausing for emphasis La: and as for keeping this place a secret, if i had have told you about it, then you would never have had the satisfaction of... Lara turns around and looks Kiarna in the eye evily La: thinking you had snuck up on me... hee hee good work Lara... just act like you knew she was there the whole time ~Lara

The cheeky lil' Amazon! but she could not keep a straight face, she always made Kiarna laugh. Ki: I knew what you were doing...silly...but...augh! Lara had sprayed water over the Amazon, and she shook it off but now the chase was on! Ki: Come here you Imp!

Grinning Lara calmly wades into deeper waters slowly increasing the distance between herself and Kiarna. sighing playfully as she idly skims a hand over the water La: Kiarna Kiarna Kiarna... I'm afraid this little imp is quite content where she is... so i'm afraid there will be no more imp for you today unless you're willing to make the effort.... Lara laughs before diving deep underwater and dissapearing from sight. ~Lara

It chilled her at first but growing acustomed she swam after Larissa! I'm going to throttle you when I catch you! the Amazon thought. Swimming she could see the feet of the girl who had now resurfaced... Gotcha!

Lara felt Kiarna's hold suddenly latch onto her ankle just as she was reaching the surface and gave up trying to get away. Oh well Plan B then... Lara stayed where she was at the water's surface, captive within Kiarna's hold as she waited for the girl to surface. As Kiarna rises out of the water dripping wet in front of her Lara can't help becoming very aware of their close proximity. Memories of the last Turbulent Tavern party and her alcohol induced, uninhibited self's impulsive actions start flooding her. If she could afford to swallow nervously right now she would be doing so... Plan B, Plan B, Plan B.... focus Lara... Plan B hangs in the balance Lara quickly starts taking advantage of the current situation to best suit her intentions. Instead of mouthing off at Kiarna she does the complete opposite and starts looking into her eyes intently while gently reaching out and moving a wet strand of Kiarna's hair out of her face to tuck it behind her ear. She continues maintaining eye-contact as she ever so slowly starts leaning in towards her closing the space between them... This is going to be so good... don't ruin it now by laughing... At the very last second Lara pulls back slghtly and spits the mouthful of water she had been discretely hiding straight into Kiarna's face, spraying her well and good for a surpise attack. Almost drowning herself in hysterical laughter Lara opens her eyes to look at Kiarna's shocked face. La: this is one little imp who isn't tamed so easily! Lara manages to pat her on the cheek a couple of times before hastening to make her getaway. Chuckling a little more Lara manages to draw a deep breath before swimming for cover on the slightly submerged rocks byt the waterfall. i am sooo good... ~Lara

Focus girl! LAughig she chased Lara, but decided to stop. She would wait, the water was cool and she could afford to enjoy it. If she was the imp the Amazon thought her to be Larissa would try to catch her anaware, but it would not happen! Slowly she waded through the pools.

Hmmm.... she's up to something... you don't just let someone spit water in you're face and let them get away with it... well if it's a stake-out she wants it's a stake-out she gets.... i'll just play along... for now Slowly Lara climbs out onto one of the half submerged rocks and comfortably lies down basking herself in the sun. Lying on her side with her head propped up on one hand Lara watches Kiarna wade around in the pool. The sly grin she is giving Kiarna is egging the girl on to say something... but as Kiarna continues to refuse to respond... Lara just keeps on watching her. Come on Kiarna say something... i know you want to... Time passes by with no exchanges between the two. Ok this just isn't working... Sighing contently...and loudly to make a point of it... Lara rolls onto her back and makes herself comfortable. She allows a few moments to pass while she acts as though she is examining her nails. off-handedly in a cheery voice La: lovely weather we've been having lately.... Lara smirks to herself. If their roles where switched this behaviour would frustrate Lara and probably make her crack. come on Kiarna just take the bait... ~Lara

It reminded her of someone slightly.... Hmmmm, who? But she continued to wade, submerging herself and letting the water take her. She felt free and unfettered for the first time in months and glad for the leisure, not wanting Lara's games to interrupt. But as the girl spoke she realised and retorted. Ki: You've been spending too much time with Kalasin! She said before diving deep into the water. The coolness covered her, but she needed to resurface. Looking around she could not see Lara She's probably under the surface! But she waited and still no Larissa. So she watched intently every movement, every sound. suddenly behind a tree came a smallest spotting of flesh, Kairna smiled and commended Larissa on hiding so well, she knew the girl was prone to giggles. Ki: Oh where could Lara be? said loudly Oh well must return to the village then! And she started to make her way out of the water.

It had been awhile since she had rested in one of her favorite trees. Actually every tree was her favorite tree simply because she could climb them and relax. She was enjoying her view a little more than usual because she got to watch Kiarna and Lara play a game of what she thought to be like Cat and Mouse. She had been watching them for quite some time now and found it quite humorous. TO her dismay, Leigha finished her apple. She didn't think to bring another one with her because she didn't think she was going to be sitting where she was for that long. It was just that her sisters had come along and she didn't want to interrupt their little game by making her presence known. She looked at the core of the apple and sighed. She wished she had powers like the gods so she could turn the apple core into another ripe red apple. Leigha tossed the apple core out of the tree and watched as it flew in the direction of Kiarna who was now out of the water. The core bounced off of Kiarna's head and hit the ground. Leigha made a face. L: oh great....

Pulling her shorts on quietly she glanced up to check on Kiarna's whereabouts and at the perfect moment too to see the apple core hit her on the head. Unable to quiet her giggles Lara cringes and grabs her top. She had seen which direction the apple core had come from...mainly up... and quickly climbs the nearest tree heading in that direction knowing it could only be one of her sisters to throw an apple core at someone. All of a sudden Lara appears and settles herself, sitting on the branch beside Leigha where she fiunishes tying up her top. hushed La: hey Lei... good work with the apple core... pure genious if i may say so myself Lara gives her friend a smile and a wink before looking back down below to Kiarna. No doubt she would find them in a few seconds but it was still funny watching her question the apple core...she probably thinks i did it... wait till she sees Leigha and i are teaming up against her... Moving close to Leigha to whisper in her ear, she points towards the waterfall. High up on one of the dry protruding rocks midway down the waterfall Kiarna's clothes are heaped. whispers La: maybe have spent too much time with Kalasin.... but it sure taught me a few things... ~Lara

Noticing the apple core she smiled quizzically but wondered all the same. Looking around she spotted her clothes, and started the climb. Ki: Imp! She muttered as she climbed the heights, well at least she was clean! Grabbing her clothes she sat and dressed on the ledge and noticed clothing in a tree top. Spotting Larissa she was speaking to another... Ki: Probably Leigha she retorted not surprised the partners in crime had returned. Well lets see how far they get inside Hyrcania... as she climbed over and towards the village.

She didn't mean to do it honestly, she just had bad aim. She heard the tree moving and looked down to see Lara climbing her way up. Leigha giggled and looked back down at Kiarna. Lei:actually Lara....that apple was quite by accident but now that you mention it....it was quite brilliant It had been a long time since Leigha and Lara had been together. Leigha had been doing her own thing for a while. Her and Kalasin had fallen out and Lara had went away, leaving Leigha alone with a village full of people with no sense of humor. She was so excited that she finally got to see her sister again. Lei: I have a bad feeling. I think that we are asking for it when we get back to Hyrcania. Don't you think so? She then thought about her comment about Kalasin and smirked. Lei: Lara dear you have been hanging around Kim. Let's just hope you haven't picked up too many of her habits. Leigha stuck her tongue at Lara and suggested that they climb down and head back to Hyrcania. She was hoping that they could get there before Kiarna did. Leigha waited until Kiarna was out of sight and climbed down. Lei: lets hurry!

She too had missed her sister and partner in crime greatly. La: don't you worry i'm still the same old Lara... only better chuckles Lara pulls away and stretches her arms above her head. La: Well now that i'm all refreshed i think that i may just be up for some more 'messing with Kiarna's head' Lei: Lara, you're always up for messing with people's heads La: oh yeah says the girl who threw and apple core at someone's head! Lara sticks her tongue out at Leigha teasingly before continuing... La: and besides no matter what our friend Kiki has planned she'll never pull one over on us... i still have a few taunts up my sleeve evil smirk Lara starts walking in the direction of Hyrcania side by side with Leigha ~Lara

She could turn any situation into a playful and fun game and she always came out on top in the end. Except for Kalasin anyway. As the two girls walked back to Hyrcania, Leigha tried to keep her eyes open for Kiarna. Lei: its too quiet. I think she is hidding and waiting on us. I think she is gonna kill us. You know...I really didn't mean to hit her on the head with the apple core. I hope it didn't hurt to bad. The was a snap of a branch some where. Leigha froze for a moment. She listened out and then when after a few seconds she started walking again. Lei: I think she is gonna jump out and get us... La: Well if she does remind me to push you in front of me. Lei: some friend you are.... La: laughing you know I am only playing Leigha looked over at her sister and smirked. Lei: Sure you are....

L: you sure know how to make someone feel better, Larissa. Leigha sighed and tried to focus on something else. Last thing she wanted was to be pounced on by her much taller and much strong sister, Kiarna. Leigha had been in Hyrcania for almost two years. She was much stronger than she was when she first came but when it comes down to sparring with someone who was born amazon or someone who had been training longer...she had to admit she didn't stand a chance. L: you'l protect me? looks in the sky and makes a face Gods help me.

Lei: You cant let Kiarna get a me! You can't! I don't want to die just yet! I'm too young to die. Lara:with a sigh alright alright... Leigha gave a victory smile and continued walking down the path. The village of Hyrcania could be seen in the distance. She looked at Lara from the corner of her eye and giggle. Lei: did I mention too cute to die too?
